The EU-LAC Business Summit is the most significant bi-regional conference at the economic level in the context of the Austrian Presidency of the European Union in the first half of 2006. It will take place in Vienna on May 12th in parallel to the IV EU-LAC Summit of Heads of State and Government. Speakers and panellists include chairpersons and chief executive officers from highly dynamic business sectors. The promotion of bilateral trade relations, direct investments and business opportunities between the two regions constitutes the key goal of this event organized by Austria.
