Foreign Minister Ursula Plassnik, President in office of the Council of the EU, is to have talks with the Foreign Minister of Oman, Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, on Tuesday, 2 May 2006. Their discussions will centre on the dialogue of cultures and religions, the Middle East peace process, the situation in Iraq, Iran’s nuclear policy and EU relations with the Gulf Cooperation Council.
The Foreign Ministry invites interested media representatives to a film and photo opportunity before the meeting begins:
